Landhotel Dörr in Bad Laasphe

We had bought a voucher from the previous owners, which will expire in December. Now this cannot be redeemed due to the pandemic. The managing director is not ready to accommodate us in this regard and to provide an alternative / compensation. In addition, this conversation took place in a very incompetent and impolite way that you didn't get the feeling that it was a reputable 5-star hotel. Very disappointing and therefore not recommended.

My first week is enough to get the full number of stars! Super quiet area, comfortable mattresses, comfortable room, bathroom is not neglected either. Breakfast egg with bacon like it's in book stands! Once again the cherry on the yellow Of the egg 😂 So anytime again

The reception was modest. No cordiality. The way to the room was explained, but the house is a pure labyrinth. We had a country house room. If the elevators fail, there are 106 steps up to the room. The mattresses were worn out. The beds creaked. Restaurant recommendable, but overall: not again!

Great service! Very tasty. Note, the ladies in the service are allowed to keep up with the times ... But I think this is traditional clothing .. But that is personal. But all credit, to the staff. Further info; the hotel is on a busy road .. the village is quiet. Walking fine. Just google for fun! Welness fine good and clean!

The room in the attic smells of cold smoke, the upholstery of the sofa is a 50 year old joke. The bathroom is new, the service and food are really great!

Eaten here today, choice was quite limited and the menu not very clear in terms of what was served with the meat dishes, normally you get potatoes, or fries and vegetables but everything was separate and had to be paid extra separately. What we ordered was a separate combination, fish and meat together, but that too was not mentioned on the menu and was served with only salad and again no fries or potatoes. Service was friendly but not very good. I wouldn't eat there again.

Really enjoyed our stay

Very nice hotel with many amenities, swimming pool, wellness area etc. as well as a restaurant with delicious food, amuse geulle. The breakfast buffet is very balanced and appealing, very tasty. The standard room was wonderful with a small balcony. Gladly again anytime if needed!

We had only a diner to the restaurant. The food and the service were perfect ! The apple cake is a must have ! If you like good portions, you'll be served !

Nice hotel, with really nice staff. Rooms are really great. The bathroom was also up to date. The breakfast was more than sufficient! It would only be a shame that evening drinking beer had to be cleaned up. Was rather annoying! But would still like to go back here.

Nice, somewhat old hotel. Good breakfast selection, nice wellness area. However, inclusive services such as water and fruit in the room are written on the website. This was not to be found and after personal contact with the front desk, it was said that this would only be available when booking arrangements. Unfortunately, this is factually wrong. Regardless, I take it for granted for a 4 * hotel. In general, the service is not very accommodating - there is definitely still room for improvement. Upon arrival, the room was unfortunately not heated. The hotel website also promised something different under the booked room category.

Cozy. The building itself looks very cozy. The style is reminiscent of Austria. The parking spaces are in front of the house. Separated by road. There is also the cute train station of Feudingen. You hardly notice any of the rail traffic. He doesn't bother! This makes it very pleasant for cyclists to take beautiful tours down the Lahn and take the train back to directly in front of the hotel. Inside the hotel one is also often reminded of Austria. Wood everywhere on the ceilings and walls. The welcome is very friendly and many regular guests testify to the satisfaction of the guests. We had a very spacious room. The slightly crooked, slightly creaky floor shows that parts of the nested hotel complex still exist from an ancient time. It has been run by the Doerr family for many generations. The room was getting a bit old. However, the bathroom seems to be quite new. The fact that the hotel has been added to and remodeled over and over for generations means that the complex is very complex and confusing. The motto here is: many paths lead to the room. But that makes the house interesting. There is a nice wellness area, etc. with indoor and outdoor sauna. A swimming pool is also integrated into it. The kitchen is very recommendable and of high quality. There are different rooms for celebrations and meetings. We can definitely recommend the hotel.

Its a really conpfirtable location. Buce and promptly servers and the meal tasted well. Especial the bar is landlike and remembers thr good old time! Really good!

Nice hotel with nice staff. The rooms are very comfortable, only the bathroom could spoil the mood. The breakfast buffet has a very good selection in the best quality. The wellness area is very spacious and invites you to relax.
